సమూయేలు సౌలుతోనేనే దీర్ఘదర్శిని, ఉన్నతమైన స్థలమునకు నాకుముందు వెళ్లుడి, నేడు మీరు నాతో కూడ భోజనము చేయవలెను, రేపు నీ మనస్సులో నున్న దంతయు నీకు తెలియజేసి నిన్ను వెళ్లనిచ్చెదను.

Samooyelu saulutonene deerghadarshini, unnatamaina sthalamunaku naakumundu velludi, nedu meeru naato kooda bhojanamu cheyavalenu, repu nee manassulo nunna dantayu neeku teliyajesi ninnu vellanichchedanu.

King James Version (KJV): And Samuel answered Saul, and said, I [am] the seer: go up before me unto the high place; for ye shall eat with me to day, and to morrow I will let thee go, and will tell thee all that [is] in thine heart.

20మూడు దినముల క్రిందట తప్పిపోయిన నీ గార్దభములనుగూర్చి విచారపడకుము, అవి దొరికినవి. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల అభీష్టము ఎవరియందున్నది? నీ యందును నీ తండ్రి యింటి వారియందును గదా అనెను.
21అందుకు సౌలు నేను బెన్యామీనీయుడను కానా? నా గోత్రము ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల గోత్రములలో స్వల్పమైనదికాదా? నా యింటి వారు బెన్యామీను గోత్రపు ఇంటివారందరిలో అల్పులు కారా? నాతో ఈలాగున ఎందుకు పలుకుచున్నావు? అనెను.
