పచనకర్త జబ్బను దాని మీదనున్న దానిని తీసికొనివచ్చి సౌలు ఎదుట ఉంచగా సమూయేలు సౌలుతో ఇట్లనెనుచూడుము, మనము కలిసికొను కాలమునకై దాచియుంచ బడిన దానిని నీకు పెట్టియున్నాడు, జనులను పిలిచితినని నేను పచనకర్తతో చెప్పినప్పుడు ఇది నీకొరకుంచవలసినదని చెప్పితిని. ఆ దినమున సౌలు సమూయేలుతో కూడభోజనముచేసెను,
Pachanakarta jabbanu daani meedanunna daanini teesikonivachchi saulu eduta unchagaa samooyelu sauluto itlanenuchoodumu, manamu kalisikonu kaalamunakai daachiyuncha badina daanini neeku pettiyunnaadu, janulanu pilichitinani nenu pachanakartato cheppinappudu idi neekorakunchavalasinadani cheppitini. - And the cook took up the shoulder, and [that] which [was] upon it, and set [it] before Saul. And [Samuel] said, Behold that which is left! set [it] before thee, [and] eat: for unto this time hath it been kept for thee since I said, I have invited the people. So Saul did eat with Samuel that day.

- 26మరునాడు తెల్లవారునప్పుడు సమూయేలుమిద్దెమీదనున్న సౌలును పిలిచి నేను నిన్ను సాగనంపుటకై లెమ్ము అని చెప్పగా సౌలు లేచెను. తరువాత వారిద్దరు బయలుదేరి
