2. 2రాజైన సొలొమోను సమక్షము నుండి పారిపోయి ఐగుప్తులో వాసము చేయుచున్న నెబాతు కుమారుడైన యరొబాము అది విని ఐగుప్తునుండి తిరిగిరాగా జనులు అతని పిలిపించిరి.
3. 3యరొబామును ఇశ్రాయేలువారందరును కూడి వచ్చి నీ తండ్రి మా కాడిని బరువుచేసెను;
4. 4నీ తండ్రి నియమించిన కఠిన దాస్యమును అతడు మామీద ఉంచిన బరువైన కాడిని నీవు ఇప్పుడు చులుకన చేసినయెడల మేము నిన్ను సేవింతు మని రెహబాముతో మనవిచేయగా
5. 5అతడుమీరు మూడు దినములు తాళి మరల నాయొద్దకు రండని చెప్పెను గనుక జనులు వెళ్లిపోయిరి.
