అప్పుడు అబీయా ఎఫ్రాయిము మన్యమందుండు సెమరాయిము కొండమీద నిలిచి ప్రకటించినదేమనగాయరొబామా, ఇశ్రాయేలువారలారా, మీరందరును నాకు చెవియొగ్గుడి.

- 5ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజ్యమును ఎల్లప్పుడును ఏలునట్లుగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా దావీదుతోను అతని సంతతివారితోను భంగము కాజాలని నిబంధన చేసి దానిని వారికిచ్చెనని మీరు తెలిసికొందురు గదా.
- 6అయినను దావీదు కుమారుడైన సొలొమోనుకు దాసుడును నెబాతు కుమారుడునగు యరొబాము పనికి మాలిన దుష్టులతో కలిసి లేచి తన యజమానునిమీద తిరుగుబాటు చేసెను.
