11ఆసా తన దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు మొఱ్ఱపెట్టి యెహోవా, విస్తారమైన సైన్యముచేతిలో ఓడిపోకుండ బలములేనివారికి సహాయము చేయుటకు నీకన్న ఎవరును లేరు; మా దేవా యెహోవా, మాకు సహాయముచేయుము, నిన్నే నమ్ముకొని యున్నాము, నీ నామమునుబట్టియే యీ సైన్యమును ఎదిరించుటకు బయలుదేరియున్నాము. యెహోవా నీవే మా దేవుడవు, నరమాత్రులను నీ పైని జయమొందనియ్యకుము అని ప్రార్థింపగా
12యెహోవా ఆ కూషీయులను ఆసాయెదుటను యూదావారి యెదుటను నిలువనియ్యక వారిని మొత్తినందున వారు పారిపోయిరి.
