3. 10ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ఐగుప్తులోనుండి వచ్చినప్పుడు నీవు వారిని అమ్మోనీయులతోను మోయా బీయులతోను శేయీరు మన్యవాసులతోను యుద్ధము చేయనియ్యలేదు గనుక ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు వారిని నిర్మూలము చేయక వారియొద్దనుండి తొలగి పోయిరి.
4. 11మేము స్వతంత్రించుకొనవలెనని నీవు మా కిచ్చిన నీ స్వాస్థ్య ములోనుండి మమ్మును తోలివేయుటకై వారు బయలుదేరి వచ్చి మాకెట్టి ప్రత్యుపకారము చేయుచున్నారో దృష్టిం చుము.
5. 12మా దేవా, నీవు వారికి తీర్పుతీర్చవా? మా మీదికి వచ్చు ఈ గొప్ప సైన్యముతో యుద్ధము చేయుటకును మాకు శక్తి చాలదు; ఏమి చేయుటకును మాకు తోచదు; నీవే మాకు దిక్కు అని ప్రార్థన చేసెను.
