And the LORD said unto me, Distress not the Moabites, neither contend with them in battle: for I will not give thee of their land [for] a possession; because I have given Ar unto the children of Lot [for] a possession.

3. 9మనము తిరిగి మోయాబు అరణ్యమార్గమున ప్రయా ణము చేయుచుండగా యెహోవా నాతో ఇట్లనెనుమోయాబీయులను బాధింపవద్దు; వారితో యుద్ధముచేయ వద్దు. లోతు సంతానమునకు ఆరు దేశమును స్వాస్థ్య ముగా ఇచ్చితిని, వారి భూమిలో ఏదియు నీకు స్వాస్థ్యముగా ఇయ్యను.
4. 10పూర్వకాలమున ఏమీయులనువారు ఆరు దేశములో నివసించిరి. వారు అనాకీయులవలె, ఉన్నత దేహులు, బలవంతులైన బహు జనులు. వారును అనాకీయులవలె రెఫాయీయులుగా ఎంచబడిన వారు.
5. 11మోయాబీయులు వారికి ఏమీయులని పేరు పెట్టిరి.
