యుద్ధమునకు ఉజ్జియాకు సైన్యము కలిగియుండెను; అందులోని యోధులు రాజు అధిపతులలో హనన్యా అనువాని చేతిక్రిందనుండిరి. ఖజానాదారుడగు మయ శేయాయు ప్రధానమంత్రియగు యెహీయేలును వారి లెక్క ఎంతైనది చూచి వారిని పటాలముగా ఏర్పరచువారై యుండిరి.

Yuddhamunaku ujjiyaaku sainyamu kaligiyundenu; anduloni yodhulu raaju adhipatulalo hananyaa anuvaani chetikrindanundiri. Khajaanaadaarudagu maya sheyaayu pradhaanamantriyagu yeheeyelunu vaari lekka entainadi choochi vaarini pataalamugaa erparachuvaarai yundiri.

13రాజునకు సహాయము చేయుటకై శత్రువులతో యుద్ధము చేయుటయందు పేరుపొందిన పరాక్రమశాలులైన మూడులక్షల ఏడు వేల ఐదువందలమందిగల సైన్యము వారి చేతిక్రింద ఉండెను.
