యోషీయా అటు తిరిగి అచ్చట పర్వతమందున్న సమాధులను చూచి కొందరిని పంపి సమాధులలోనున్న శల్యములను తెప్పించి, దైవ జనుడు యెహోవా మాట చాటించి చెప్పిన ప్రకారము వాటిని బలిపీఠముమీద కాల్చి దాని అపవిత్రపరచెను.

Yosheeyaa atu tirigi achchata parvatamandunna samaadhulanu choochi kondarini pampi samaadhulalonunna shalyamulanu teppinchi, daiva janudu yehovaa maata chaatinchi cheppina prakaaramu vaatini balipeethamumeeda kaalchi daani apavitraparachenu.

King James Version (KJV): And as Josiah turned himself, he spied the sepulchres that [were] there in the mount, and sent, and took the bones out of the sepulchres, and burned [them] upon the altar, and polluted it, according to the word of the LORD which the man of God proclaimed, who proclaimed these words.

17అంతట అతడునాకు కనబడుచున్న ఆ సమాధి యెవరిదని అడిగినప్పుడు పట్టణపు వారు అది యూదాదేశమునుండి వచ్చి నీవు, బేతేలులోని బలిపీఠమునకు చేసిన క్రియలను ముందుగా తెలిపిన దైవజనుని సమాధియని చెప్పిరి.
18అందు కతడుదానిని తప్పించుడి, యెవడును అతని శల్యములను తీయకూడదని చెప్పగా వారు అతని శల్యములను షోమ్రోను పట్టణమునుండి వచ్చిన ప్రవక్త శల్యములను తప్పించిరి.
