3. 11వాడు ద్వారపాల కుని పిలిచెను. వారు లోపలనున్న రాజు ఇంటివారితో ఆ సమాచారము తెలియజెప్పగా
4. 12రాజు రాత్రియందు లేచి తన సేవకులను పిలిచిసిరియనులు మనకు చేసినదానిని నేను మీకు చూపింతును; మనము ఆకలితోనున్న సంగతి వారికి తెలిసియున్నది గనుకవారు పట్టణములోనుండి బయటకు వచ్చినయెడల మనము వారిని సజీవులనుగా పట్టు కొని పట్టణమందు ప్రవేశింపగలమని యోచనచేసి, పేట విడిచి పొలములోనికి పోయి పొంచియున్నారని వారితో అనెను.
5. 13అప్పుడు అతని సేవకులలో ఒకడు ఈలాగు మన విచేసెనుఇంతకుముందు ఇశ్రాయేలువారలలో బహు మంది మనుష్యులు లయమై పోయిరి గదా ఇక అయిదుగురు లయమై పోవుట అబ్బురమా? నీకు అనుకూలమైన యెడల పట్టణమందు మిగిలియున్న రౌతులలొ అయిదు గురిని తీసికొని పోనిమ్ము; మనము వారిని పంపి చూచెదమని చెప్పెను.
