King James Version (KJV): So they came and called unto the porter of the city: and they told them, saying, We came to the camp of the Syrians, and, behold, [there was] no man there, neither voice of man, but horses tied, and asses tied, and the tents as they [were].

12రాజు రాత్రియందు లేచి తన సేవకులను పిలిచిసిరియనులు మనకు చేసినదానిని నేను మీకు చూపింతును; మనము ఆకలితోనున్న సంగతి వారికి తెలిసియున్నది గనుకవారు పట్టణములోనుండి బయటకు వచ్చినయెడల మనము వారిని సజీవులనుగా పట్టు కొని పట్టణమందు ప్రవేశింపగలమని యోచనచేసి, పేట విడిచి పొలములోనికి పోయి పొంచియున్నారని వారితో అనెను.
