3. 4అంతట హానూను దావీదు పంపించిన సేవకులను పట్టుకొని, సగము గడ్డము గొరిగించి, వారు తొడుగుకొనిన బట్టలను నడిమికి పిఱ్ఱలమట్టుకు కత్తిరించి వారిని వెళ్లగొట్టెను.
4. 5ఈ సంగతి దావీదునకు వినబడినప్పుడు, ఆ మనుష్యులు బహు సిగ్గునొందిరని వారిని ఎదుర్కొనుటకై మనుష్యులను పంపించిమీ గడ్డములు పెరుగువరకు యెరికోపట్టణమందు ఆగి అటుతరువాత రండని వారితో చెప్పుడనెను.
5. 6దావీదు దృష్టికి మనలను మనము హేయపరచుకొంటిమని అమ్మోనీయులు గ్రహించి దూత లను పంపి, బేత్రెహోబుతోను అరాము సోబాతోను చేరిన సిరియనులలోనుండి యిరువదివేల మంది కాల్బల మును, మయకా రాజు నొద్దనుండి వెయ్యిమంది బంటులను, టోబులోనుండి పండ్రెండు వేలమంది బంటులను జీతమునకు పిలిపించుకొనిరి.
