అతడు ఒక పట్టణములో చొచ్చినయెడల ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరును ఆ పట్టణమునకు త్రాళ్లు తీసికొనివచ్చి యొక చిన్న రాయి అచ్చట కనబడకుండ దానిని నదిలోనికి లాగుదురు.

- 14అబ్షాలోమును ఇశ్రాయేలువారందరును ఈ మాట విని అర్కీయుడగు హూషై చెప్పిన ఆలోచన అహీతోపెలు చెప్పినదానికంటె యుక్తమని యొప్పు కొనిరి; ఏలయనగా యెహోవా అబ్షాలోముమీదికి ఉపద్రవమును రప్పింపగలందులకై అహీతోపెలు చెప్పిన యుక్తిగల ఆలోచనను వ్యర్థముచేయ నిశ్చయించి యుండెను.
- 15కాబట్టి హూషై అబ్షాలోమునకును ఇశ్రాయేలువారి పెద్దలకందరికిని అహీతోపెలు చెప్పిన ఆలోచనను తాను చెప్పిన ఆలోచనను యాజకులగు సాదోకుతోను అబ్యా తారుతోను తెలియజెప్పి
