2. 14అబ్షాలోమును ఇశ్రాయేలువారందరును ఈ మాట విని అర్కీయుడగు హూషై చెప్పిన ఆలోచన అహీతోపెలు చెప్పినదానికంటె యుక్తమని యొప్పు కొనిరి; ఏలయనగా యెహోవా అబ్షాలోముమీదికి ఉపద్రవమును రప్పింపగలందులకై అహీతోపెలు చెప్పిన యుక్తిగల ఆలోచనను వ్యర్థముచేయ నిశ్చయించి యుండెను.
3. 15కాబట్టి హూషై అబ్షాలోమునకును ఇశ్రాయేలువారి పెద్దలకందరికిని అహీతోపెలు చెప్పిన ఆలోచనను తాను చెప్పిన ఆలోచనను యాజకులగు సాదోకుతోను అబ్యా తారుతోను తెలియజెప్పి
4. 16మీరు త్వరపడి ఈ రాత్రి అరణ్యమందు ఏరు దాటు స్థలములలో ఉండవద్దనియు, రాజును అతని సమక్షమందున్న జనులందరును నశింప కుండునట్లు శీఘ్రముగా వెళ్లిపోవుడనియు దావీదునకు వర్తమానము పంపుడని చెప్పెను.
5. 17తాము పట్టణముతట్టు వచ్చిన సంగతి తెలియబడక యుండునట్లు యోనాతానును అహిమయస్సును ఏన్‌రోగేలు దగ్గర నిలిచియుండగా పని కత్తెయొకతెవచ్చి, హూషై చెప్పిన సంగతిని వారికి తెలియజేయగా వారు వచ్చి రాజైన దావీదుతో దాని తెలియజెప్పిరి.
