అబ్షాలోమును ఇశ్రాయేలువారందరును ఈ మాట విని అర్కీయుడగు హూషై చెప్పిన ఆలోచన అహీతోపెలు చెప్పినదానికంటె యుక్తమని యొప్పు కొనిరి; ఏలయనగా యెహోవా అబ్షాలోముమీదికి ఉపద్రవమును రప్పింపగలందులకై అహీతోపెలు చెప్పిన యుక్తిగల ఆలోచనను వ్యర్థముచేయ నిశ్చయించి యుండెను.
