తాను వారిని కనుగొనిన సంగతి పనివాడు ఒకడు అబ్షాలోమునకు తెలిపెను గాని వారిద్దరు వేగిరముగా పోయి బహూరీములో ఒకని యిల్లు చేరి అతని యింటి ముంగిట ఒక బావి యుండగా దానిలో దిగి దాగి యుండిరి.

King James Version (KJV): Nevertheless a lad saw them, and told Absalom: but they went both of them away quickly, and came to a man’s house in Bahurim, which had a well in his court; whither they went down.

19ఆ యింటి యిల్లాలు ముతక గుడ్డ యొకటి తీసికొనివచ్చి బావిమీద పరచి దానిపైన గోధుమపిండి ఆర బోసెను గనుక వారు దాగిన సంగతి యెవరికిని తెలియక పోయెను.
20అబ్షాలోము సేవకులు ఆ యింటి ఆమెయొద్దకు వచ్చి అహిమయస్సును యోనాతానును ఎక్కడ ఉన్నారని అడుగగా ఆమెవారు ఏరుదాటి పోయిరని వారితో చెప్పెను గనుక వారు పోయి వెదకి వారిని కానక యెరూషలేమునకు తిరిగి వచ్చిరి.
