3. 15అందుకు యెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులమీదికి తెగులు రప్పించగా ఆ దినము ఉదయము మొదలుకొని సమాజకూటపు వేళ వరకు అది జరుగుచుండెను; అందుచేత దానునుండి బెయే ర్షెబావరకు డెబ్బది వేలమంది మృతి నొందిరి.
4. 16అయితే దూత యెరూషలేము పైని హస్తము చాపి నాశనము చేయబోయినప్పుడు, యెహోవా ఆ కీడునుగూర్చి సంతాపమొంది అంతే చాలును, నీ చెయ్యి తీయుమని జనులను నాశనముచేయు దూతకు ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చెను. యెహోవా దూత యెబూసీయుడైన అరౌనాయొక్క కళ్లము దగ్గర ఉండగా
5. 17దావీదు జనులను నాశనము చేసిన దూతను కనుగొని యెహోవాను ఈలాగు ప్రార్థించెనుచిత్తగించుము; పాపము చేసినవాడను నేనే; దుర్మార్గ ముగా ప్రవర్తించినవాడను నేనే; గొఱ్ఱెలవంటి వీరేమి చేసిరి? నన్నును నా తండ్రి యింటివారిని శిక్షించుము.
