4సౌలు కుమారుడగు యోనాతానునకు కుంటివాడగు కుమారుడు ఒకడుండెను. యెజ్రెయేలునుండి సౌలును గురించియు యోనాతానును గురించియు వర్తమానమువచ్చి నప్పుడు వాడు అయిదేండ్లవాడు; వాని దాది వానిని ఎత్తికొని పరుగు పరుగున పారిపోగా వాడు పడి కుంటివాడాయెను. వాని పేరు మెఫీబోషెతు.
5రిమ్మోను కుమారులగు రేకాబును బయనాయును మంచి యెండవేళ బయలుదేరి మధ్యాహ్నకాలమున ఇష్బోషెతు మంచముమీద పండుకొనియుండగా అతని యింటికి వచ్చిరి.
