And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him two men, desiring [him] that he would not delay to come to them.

As Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent two men to him, imploring him not to delay in coming to them.

5. 40పేతురు అందరిని వెలుపలికి పంపి మోకాళ్లూని ప్రార్థనచేసి శవమువైపు తిరిగి తబితా, లెమ్మనగా ఆమె కన్నులు తెరచి పేతురును చూచి లేచి కూర్చుండెను.
