తన రాజ్యమంతటిపైన అధిపతులుగా ఉండుటకై నూట ఇరువదిమంది యధిపతులను నియమించుటకు దర్యావేషునకు ఇష్టమాయెను.

Tana raajyamantatipaina adhipatulugaa undutakai noota iruvadimandi yadhipatulanu niyaminchutaku daryaaveshunaku ishtamaayenu.

1తన రాజ్యమంతటిపైన అధిపతులుగా ఉండుటకై నూట ఇరువదిమంది యధిపతులను నియమించుటకు దర్యావేషునకు ఇష్టమాయెను.
2వారిపైన ముగ్గురిని ప్రధానులగా నియమించెను; ఆ ముగ్గురిలో దానియేలు ముఖ్యుడు. రాజునకు నష్టము కలుగకుండునట్లు ఆ యధిపతులు తప్ప కుండ వీరికి లెక్కలు ఒప్పజెప్పవలెనని ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చెను.
3ఈ దానియేలు అతిశ్రేష్ఠమైన బుద్ధిగలవాడై ప్రధానుల లోను అధిపతులలోను ప్రఖ్యాతి నొందియుండెను గనుక రాజ్యమంతటిమీద అతని నియమింపవలెనని రాజుద్దే శించెను.
