3. 13అందుకు వారుచెరపట్ట బడిన యూదులలోనున్న ఆ దానియేలు, నిన్నేగాని నీవు పుట్టించిన శాసనమునేగాని లక్ష్యపెట్టక, అనుదినము ముమ్మారు ప్రార్థనచేయుచు వచ్చుచున్నాడనిరి.
4. 14రాజు ఈ మాట విని బహుగా వ్యాకులపడి, దానియేలును రక్షింపవలెనని తన మనస్సు దృఢముచేసికొని, సూర్యుడస్తమించువరకు అతని విడిపించుటకు ప్రయత్నము చేసెను.
5. 15ఆ మనుష్యులు దీని చూచి రాజసన్నిధికి సందడిగా కూడి వచ్చిరాజా, రాజు స్థిరపరచిన యే శాసనము గాని తీర్మానము గాని యెవడును రద్దుపరచజాలడు; ఇది మాదీయులకును పారసీకులకును విధియని తమరు తెలిసి కొనవలెననిరి.
