2. 16మనము ఐగుప్తు దేశమందు ఎట్లు నివసించితిమో, మీరు దాటి వచ్చిన జనముల మధ్యనుండి మనమెట్లు దాటివచ్చి తిమో మీరెరుగుదురు.
3. 17వారి హేయక్రియలను, కఱ్ఱతోను రాతితోను వెండితోను బంగారముతోను చేయబడినవారి విగ్రహములను మీరు చూచితిరిగదా.
4. 18ఆ జనముల దేవ తలను పూజించుటకు మన దేవుడైన యెహోవాయొద్ద నుండి తొలగు హృదయముగల పురుషుడేగాని స్త్రీయేగాని కుటుంబమేగాని గోత్రమేగాని నేడు మీలో ఉండ కుండునట్లును, మరణకరమైన దుష్కృత్యమునకు అట్టి మూలమైనది మీలో ఉండకుండునట్లును, నేడు ఈ నిబం ధనను మీతో చేయుచున్నాను.
5. 19అట్టి పనులను చేయు వాడు ఈ శాపవాక్య ములను వినునప్పుడు, మద్యముచేత దప్పి తీర్చు కొనవలెనని నేను నా హృదయ కాఠిన్యమున నడుచుచుండినను నాకు క్షేమము కలుగునని, నేను ఆశీర్వాదము నొందెదనని అనుకొనును.
