1. 3రాజు ఆ సంగతి విని ఇందు నిమిత్తము మొర్దెకైకి బహుమతి యేదైనను ఘనత యేదైనను చేయబడెనా అని యడుగగా రాజు సేవకులు అతనికేమియు చేయబడలేదని ప్రత్యుత్తర మిచ్చిరి.
2. 4అప్పుడు ఆవరణములో ఎవరో యున్నారని రాజు చెప్పెను. అప్పటికి హామాను తాను చేయించిన ఉరికొయ్యమీద మొర్దెకైని ఉరితీయింప సెలవిమ్మని రాజుతో మనవి చేయుటకై రాజనగరుయొక్క ఆవరణము లోనికి వచ్చియుండెను.
3. 5రాజ సేవకులుఏలినవాడా చిత్త గించుము, హామాను ఆవరణములో నిలువబడియున్నాడని రాజుతో చెప్పగా రాజు అతని రానియ్యుడని సెలవిచ్చి నందున హామాను లోపలికి వచ్చెను.
4. 6రాజు ఘనపరచ నపేక్షించువానికి ఏమిచేయవలెనని రాజు అతని నడుగగా హామానునన్ను గాక మరి ఎవరిని రాజు ఘనపరచ నపే క్షించునని తనలో తాననుకొని రాజుతో ఇట్లనెను
5. 7రాజు ఘనపరచ నపేక్షించువానికి చేయ తగినదేమనగా
