రాజు రాణియైన ఎస్తేరుతోయూదులు షూషను కోటయందు ఐదువందలమందిని హామానుయొక్క పదిమంది కుమారులను బొత్తిగా నాశనము చేసియున్నారు; రాజుయొక్క కొదువ సంస్థానములలో వారు ఏమిచేసి యుందురో; ఇప్పుడు నీ మనవి ఏమిటి? అది నీకనుగ్ర హింపబడును, నీవు ఇంకను అడుగునదేమి? అది దయచేయ బడునని సెలవియ్యగా

King James Version (KJV): And the king said unto Esther the queen, The Jews have slain and destroyed five hundred men in Shushan the palace, and the ten sons of Haman; what have they done in the rest of the king’s provinces? now what [is] thy petition? and it shall be granted thee: or what [is] thy request further? and it shall be done.
World English Bible (WEB): The king said to Esther the queen, “The Jews have slain and destroyed five hundred men in the citadel of Susa, including the ten sons of Haman; what then have they done in the rest of the king’s provinces! 13ఎస్తేరు రాజవైన తమకు సమ్మతమైనయెడల ఈ దినము జరిగిన చొప్పున షూషను నందున్న యూదులు రేపును చేయునట్లుగాను, హామానుయొక్క పదిమంది కుమారులు ఉరికొయ్యమీద ఉరితీయింపబడు నట్లుగాను సెలవియ్యుడనెను.
14ఆలాగు చేయవచ్చునని రాజు సెలవిచ్చెను. షూషనులో ఆజ్ఞ ప్రకటింపబడెను; హామాను యొక్క పదిమంది కుమారులు ఉరి తీయింపబడిరి.
