ఆలాగు చేయవచ్చునని రాజు సెలవిచ్చెను. షూషనులో ఆజ్ఞ ప్రకటింపబడెను; హామాను యొక్క పదిమంది కుమారులు ఉరి తీయింపబడిరి.
Aalaagu cheyavachchunani raaju selavichchenu. Shooshanulo aajnya prakatimpabadenu; haamaanu yokka padimandi kumaarulu uri teeyimpabadiri.

- 16రాజు సంస్థానములయందుండు తక్కిన యూదులు కూడుకొని, తమ ప్రాణములను రక్షించుకొనుటకై పూనుకొని అదారు మాసము పదమూడవ దిన మందు తమ విరోధులలో డెబ్బది యయిదువేల మందిని చంపివేసి, తమ పగవారివలన బాధలేకుండ నెమ్మదిపొందిరి; అయితేవారును కొల్లసొమ్ముపట్టుకొనలేదు.
