2. 22విందుచేసికొనుచు సంతోషముగా నుండి ఒకరి కొకరు బహుమానములను, దరిద్రులకు కానుకలను, పంప తగిన దినములనియు వారికి స్థిరపరచెను.
3. 23అప్పుడు యూదులు తాము ఆరంభించినదానిని మొర్దెకై తమకు వ్రాసిన ప్రకారముగా నెరవేర్చుదు మని యొప్పుకొనిరి.
4. 24యూదులకు శత్రువగు హమ్మెదాతా కుమారుడైన అగా గీయుడగు హామాను యూదులను సంహరింప దలచి వారిని నాశనపరచి నిర్మూలము చేయవలెనని, పూరు, అనగా చీటి వేయించియుండగా
5. 25ఎస్తేరు, విాజు ఎదుటికి వచ్చిన తరువాత రాజు అతడు యూదులకు విరోధముగా తలపెట్టిన చెడుయోచన తన తలమీదికే వచ్చునట్లుగా చేసి, వాడును వాని కుమారులును ఉరికొయ్యమీద ఉరితీయ బడునట్లుగా ఆజ్ఞ వ్రాయించి ఇచ్చెను.
