King James Version (KJV): And the officers of the children of Israel, which Pharaoh’s taskmasters had set over them, were beaten, [and] demanded, Wherefore have ye not fulfilled your task in making brick both yesterday and to day, as heretofore?

16తమ దాసులకు గడ్డినియ్యరు అయితే ఇటుకలు చేయుడని మాతో చెప్పుచున్నారు; చిత్తగించుము, వారు తమరి దాసులను కొట్టుచున్నారు; అయితే తప్పిదము తమరి ప్రజలయందే యున్నదని మొఱపెట్టిరి.
