హషబ్యాను అతనితోకూడ మెరారీయుడగు యెషయాను అతని బంధువులును వారి కుమారులునైన యిరువదిమందిని వారు తోడుకొని వచ్చిరి.

- 18మా దేవుని కరుణా హస్తము మాకు తోడుగా ఉన్నందున వారు ప్రజ్ఞావంతుడైన ఒకనిని షేరేబ్యాను అతని కుమారులను సహోదరులను, పదు నెనిమిదిమందిని తోడుకొని వచ్చిరి. ఆ ప్రజ్ఞావంతుడు మహలి కుమారులలో ఒకడు; ఈ మహలి ఇశ్రాయేలునకు పుట్టిన లేవి వంశస్థుడు.

- 20మరియు లేవీయులు చేయవలసిన సేవలో తోడ్పడుటకై దావీదును అధిపతులును నిర్ణయించిన నెతీనీయులలో రెండువందల ఇరువదిమంది వచ్చిరి. వీరందరును పేర్లు ఉదాహరింపబడి నియమింపబడినవారు.
- 21అప్పుడు దేవుని సన్నిధిని మమ్మును మేము దుఃఖపరచుకొని, మాకును మా చిన్న వారికిని మా ఆస్తికిని శుభ ప్రయాణము కలుగునట్లుగా ఆయనను వేడుకొనుటకు అహవా నదిదగ్గర ఉప వాసముండుడని ప్రకటించితిని.
