3. 4చెరపట్ట బడినవారి అపరాధమును చూచి, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుని మాటకు భయపడిన వారందరును నాయొద్దకు కూడి వచ్చిరి. నేను విభ్రాంతిపడి సాయంత్రపు అర్పణ వేళవరకు కూర్చుంటిని.
4. 5సాయంత్రపు అర్పణ వేళను శ్రమ తీరగా నేను లేచి, నా వస్త్రమును పై దుప్పటిని చింపుకొని మోకాళ్లమీద పడి, నా దేవుడైన యెహోవాతట్టు చేతులెతి ్త
5. 6నా దేవా నా దేవా, నా ముఖము నీ వైపు ఎత్తి కొనుటకు సిగ్గుపడి ఖిన్నుడనై యున్నాను. మా దోషములు మా తలలకు పైగా హెచ్చియున్నవి, మా అపరాధము ఆకాశమంత యెత్తుగా పెరిగియున్నది.
