1. 30ఇస్సాకు యాకోబును దీవించుటయైన తరువాత యాకోబు తన తండ్రియైన ఇస్సాకు ఎదుటనుండి బయలు దేరి వెళ్లిన తక్షణమే అతని సహోదరుడైన ఏశావు వేటాడి వచ్చెను.
2. 31అతడును రుచిగల భోజ్యములను సిద్ధపరచి తన తండ్రియొద్దకు తెచ్చినా తండ్రీ నన్ను దీవించునట్లు లేచి నీ కుమారుడు వేటాడి తెచ్చినదాని తినుమని తన తండ్రితోననెను.
3. 32అతని తండ్రియైన ఇస్సాకు - నీ వెవరవని అతని నడిగినప్పుడు అతడునేను నీ కుమారుడను ఏశావు అను నీ జ్యేష్ఠకుమారుడననగా
4. 33ఇస్సాకు మిక్కుటముగా గడగడ వణకుచు అట్లయితే వేటాడిన భోజ్యమును నాయొద్దకు తెచ్చినవారెవరు? నీవు రాకమునుపు నేను వాటన్నిటిలో తిని అతనిని నిజముగా దీవించితిని, అతడు దీవింపబడినవాడే యనెను.
5. 34ఏశావు తన తండ్రి మాటలు వినినప్పుడు దుఃఖాక్రాంతుడై పెద్దకేక వేసి - ఓ నా తండ్రీ, నన్నును దీవించుమని తన తండ్రితో చెప్పెను.
