49అంతట లాబాను నీవు నా కుమార్తెలను బాధ పెట్టినను, నా కుమార్తెలను గాక యితర స్త్రీలను పెండ్లి చేసికొనినను, చూడుము,
50మనయొద్ద ఎవరును లేరు గదా, నాకును నీకును దేవుడే సాక్షి అని చెప్పెను.
51మరియు లాబాను నాకును నీకును మధ్య నేను నిలిపిన యీ స్తంభమును చూడుము ఈ కుప్ప చూడుము.
52హానిచేయవలెనని నేను ఈ కుప్ప దాటి నీ యొద్దకు రాకను, నీవు ఈ కుప్పను ఈ స్తంభమును దాటి నా యొద్దకు రాకను ఉండుటకు ఈ కుప్ప సాక్షి యీ స్తంభమును సాక్షి.
53అబ్రాహాము దేవుడు నాహోరు దేవుడు వారి తండ్రి దేవుడు మన మధ్య న్యాయము తీర్చునని చెప్పెను. అప్పుడు యాకోబు తన తండ్రియైన ఇస్సాకు భయపడిన దేవునితోడని ప్రమాణము చేసెను.
