1. 4అప్పుడు ఏశావు అతనిని ఎదుర్కొన పరుగెత్తి అతనిని కౌగలించుకొని అతని మెడమీద పడి ముద్దుపెట్టుకొనెను; వారిద్దరు కన్నీరు విడిచిరి.
2. 5ఏశావు కన్నులెత్తి ఆ స్త్రీలను పిల్లలను చూచి వీరు నీకేమి కావలెనని అడిగినందుకు అతడు వీరు దేవుడు నీ సేవకునికి దయచేసిన పిల్లలే అని చెప్పెను.
3. 6అప్పుడు ఆ దాసీలును వారి పిల్లలును దగ్గరకువచ్చి సాగిలపడిరి.
4. 7లేయాయు ఆమె పిల్లలును దగ్గరకువచ్చి సాగిలపడిరి. ఆ తరువాత యోసేపును రాహేలును దగ్గరకు వచ్చి సాగిలపడిరి.
5. 8ఏశావు - నాకు ఎదురుగా వచ్చిన ఆ గుంపంతయు ఎందుకని అడుగగా అతడు - నా ప్రభువు కటాక్షము నా మీద వచ్చుటకే అని చెప్పెను.
