1. 5ఏశావు కన్నులెత్తి ఆ స్త్రీలను పిల్లలను చూచి వీరు నీకేమి కావలెనని అడిగినందుకు అతడు వీరు దేవుడు నీ సేవకునికి దయచేసిన పిల్లలే అని చెప్పెను.
2. 6అప్పుడు ఆ దాసీలును వారి పిల్లలును దగ్గరకువచ్చి సాగిలపడిరి.
3. 7లేయాయు ఆమె పిల్లలును దగ్గరకువచ్చి సాగిలపడిరి. ఆ తరువాత యోసేపును రాహేలును దగ్గరకు వచ్చి సాగిలపడిరి.
4. 8ఏశావు - నాకు ఎదురుగా వచ్చిన ఆ గుంపంతయు ఎందుకని అడుగగా అతడు - నా ప్రభువు కటాక్షము నా మీద వచ్చుటకే అని చెప్పెను.
5. 9అప్పుడు ఏశావు - సహోదరుడా, నాకు కావలసినంత ఉన్నది, నీది నీవే ఉంచుకొమ్మని చెప్పెను.
