And shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Even so will I break this people and this city, as [one] breaketh a potter’s vessel, that cannot be made whole again: and they shall bury [them] in Tophet, till [there be] no place to bury.

3. 11సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు మరల బాగుచేయ నశక్యమైన కుమ్మరి పాత్రను ఒకడు పగులగొట్టునట్లు నేను ఈ జనమును ఈ పట్టణమును పగులగొట్ట బోవుచున్నాను; తోఫెతులో పాతిపెట్టుటకు స్థలములేక పోవునంతగా వారు అక్కడనే పాతిపెట్టబడుదురు.
4. 12యెహోవా వాక్కు ఇదే ఈ పట్టణమును తోఫెతువంటి స్థలముగా నేను చేయుదును, ఈ స్థలమునకును దాని నివాసులకును నేనాలాగున చేయుదును.
5. 13యెరూషలేము ఇండ్లును యూదారాజుల నగరులును ఆ తోఫెతు స్థలమువలెనే అపవిత్రములగును; ఏ యిండ్లమీద జనులు ఆకాశ సమూహమను దేవతలకు ధూపము వేయుదురో, లేక అన్యదేవతలకు పానార్పణములనర్పించుదురో ఆ యిండ్లన్నిటికి ఆలాగే జరుగును.
