యెహోవా వాక్కు ఇదే ఈ పట్టణమును తోఫెతువంటి స్థలముగా నేను చేయుదును, ఈ స్థలమునకును దాని నివాసులకును నేనాలాగున చేయుదును.

- 13యెరూషలేము ఇండ్లును యూదారాజుల నగరులును ఆ తోఫెతు స్థలమువలెనే అపవిత్రములగును; ఏ యిండ్లమీద జనులు ఆకాశ సమూహమను దేవతలకు ధూపము వేయుదురో, లేక అన్యదేవతలకు పానార్పణములనర్పించుదురో ఆ యిండ్లన్నిటికి ఆలాగే జరుగును.
- 14ఆ ప్రవచనము చెప్పుటకు యెహోవా తన్ను పంపిన తోఫెతులోనుండి యిర్మీయా వచ్చి యెహోవా మందిరపు ఆవరణములో నిలిచి జనులందరితో ఈలాగు చెప్పెను.
