అందుచేత ఆయన ఆ సూచక క్రియ చేసెనని జనులు విని ఆయనను ఎదుర్కొన బోయిరి.

Anducheta aayana aa soochaka kriya chesenani janulu vini aayananu edurkona boyiri.

16ఆయన శిష్యులు ఈ మాటలు మొదట గ్రహింపలేదు గాని యేసు మహిమ పరచబడినప్పుడు అవి ఆయనను గూర్చి వ్రాయబడెననియు, వారాయనకు వాటిని చేసిరనియు జ్ఞాపకమునకు తెచ్చు కొనిరి.
17ఆయన లాజరును సమాధిలోనుండి పిలిచి మృతు లలోనుండి అతని లేపినప్పుడు, ఆయనతో కూడ ఉండిన జనులు సాక్ష్యమిచ్చిరి.
18అందుచేత ఆయన ఆ సూచక క్రియ చేసెనని జనులు విని ఆయనను ఎదుర్కొన బోయిరి.
19కావున పరిసయ్యులు ఒకరితో ఒకరు మన ప్రయత్నములెట్లు నిష్‌ప్రయోజనమై పోయినవో చూడుడి. ఇదిగో లోకము ఆయనవెంట పోయినదని చెప్పుకొనిరి.
20ఆ పండుగలో ఆరాధింపవచ్చినవారిలో కొందరు గ్రీసుదేశస్థులు ఉండిరి.
