అందుకు యేసుఇంక కొంతకాలము వెలుగు మీ మధ్య ఉండును; చీకటి మిమ్మును కమ్ముకొనకుండునట్లు మీకు వెలుగు ఉండగనే నడవుడి; చీకటిలో నడుచువాడు తాను ఎక్కడికి పోవుచున్నాడో యెరుగడు.

- 37యేసు ఈ మాటలు చెప్పి వెళ్లి వారికి కనబడకుండ దాగియుండెను. ఆయన వారి యెదుట యిన్ని సూచక క్రియలు చేసినను వారాయనయందు విశ్వాసముంచరైరి.
