అందుకు పిలాతు - నీవు రాజువా? అని ఆయనను అడుగగా యేసు - నీవన్నట్టు నేను రాజునే; సత్యమునుగూర్చి సాక్ష్యమిచ్చుటకు నేను పుట్టితిని; ఇందు నిమిత్తమే యీ లోకమునకు వచ్చితిని; సత్యసంబంధియైన ప్రతివాడును నా మాట వినుననెను.
Anduku pilaatu - neevu raajuvaa? Ani aayananu adugagaa yesu - neevannattu nenu raajune; satyamunugoorchi saakshyamichchutaku nenu puttitini; indu nimittame yee lokamunaku vachchitini; satyasambandhiyaina prativaadunu naa maata vinunanenu.

- 39అయినను పస్కాపండుగలో నేనొకని మీకు విడుదల చేయువాడుక కలదు గదా; నేను యూదుల రాజును విడుదల చేయుట మీకిష్టమా? అని వారినడిగెను.
