వారు ఆలాగు చేసి, యెరూషలేము రాజును హెబ్రోను రాజును యర్మూతు రాజును లాకీషు రాజును ఎగ్లోను రాజును ఆ రాజుల నయిదుగురిని ఆ గుహలోనుండి అతనియొద్దకు తీసికొని వచ్చిరి.

- 24వారు ఆ రాజు లను వెలుపలికి రప్పించి యెహోషువ యొద్దకు తీసికొని వచ్చినప్పుడు యెహోషువ ఇశ్రాయేలీయులనందరిని పిలి పించి, తనతో యుద్ధమునకు వెళ్లివచ్చిన యోధుల అధిపతు లతోమీరు దగ్గరకు రండి; ఈ రాజుల మెడలమీద మీ పాదముల నుంచుడని చెప్పగా వారు దగ్గరకు వచ్చి వారి మెడలమీద తమ పాదములనుంచిరి.
- 25అప్పుడు యెహోషువ వారితోమీరు భయపడకుడి, జడియకుడి, దృఢత్వము వహించి ధైర్యముగానుండుడి; మీరు ఎవరితో యుద్ధము చేయుదురో ఆ శత్రువులకందరికి యెహోవా వీరికి చేసినట్టు చేయుననెను.
