4. 14హాయి రాజు దాని చూచినప్పుడు అతడును అతని జనులందరును పట్టణస్థులందరును త్వరపడి పెందలకడలేచి మైదానమునెదుట ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను ఎదుర్కొని, తాము అంతకుముందు నిర్ణయించుకొనిన స్థలమున యుద్ధముచేయు టకు బయలుదేరిరి. తన్ను పట్టుకొనుటకు పొంచియున్న వారు పట్టణమునకు పడమటివైపుననుండిన సంగతి అతడు తెలిసికొనలేదు.
