3. 4అప్పుడు యెఫ్తా గిలాదువారి నందరిని పోగుచేసికొని ఎఫ్రాయిమీయులతో యుద్ధము చేయగా గిలాదువారు ఎఫ్రాయిమీయులను జయించిరి. ఏలయనగా వారుఎఫ్రాయిమీయులకును మనష్షీ యులకును మధ్యను గిలాదువారైన మీరు ఎఫ్రాయిమీ యులయెదుట నిలువక పారిపోయిన వారనిరి.
4. 5ఎఫ్రాయి మీయులతో యుద్ధముచేయుటకై గిలాదువారు యొర్దాను దాటు రేవులను పట్టుకొనగా పారిపోయిన ఎఫ్రాయిమీ యులలో ఎవడోనన్ను దాటనియ్యుడని చెప్పినప్పుడు గిలాదువారునీవు ఎఫ్రాయిమీయుడవా అని అతని నడి గిరి.
5. 6అందుకతడునేను కాను అనినయెడల వారు అతని చూచిషిబ్బోలెతను శబ్దము పలుకుమనిరి. అతడు అట్లు పలుకనేరక సిబ్బోలెతని పలుకగా వారు అతని పట్టుకొని యొర్దానురేవులయొద్ద చంపిరి. ఆ కాలమున ఎఫ్రాయి మీయులలో నలువది రెండువేలమంది పడి పోయిరి.
