2. 6అందుకతడునేను కాను అనినయెడల వారు అతని చూచిషిబ్బోలెతను శబ్దము పలుకుమనిరి. అతడు అట్లు పలుకనేరక సిబ్బోలెతని పలుకగా వారు అతని పట్టుకొని యొర్దానురేవులయొద్ద చంపిరి. ఆ కాలమున ఎఫ్రాయి మీయులలో నలువది రెండువేలమంది పడి పోయిరి.
3. 7యెఫ్తా ఆరు సంవత్సరములు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు న్యాయాధిపతియై యుండెను. గిలాదువాడైన యెఫ్తా చనిపోయి గిలాదు పట్టణములలో నొకదానియందు పాతిపెట్టబడెను.
4. 8అతని తరువాత బేత్లెహేమువాడైన ఇబ్సాను ఇశ్రా యేలీయులకు అధిపతియాయెను.
5. 9అతనికి ముప్పదిమంది కుమారులును ముప్పదిమంది కుమార్తెలును ఉండిరి. అతడు ఆ కుమార్తెలను తన వంశమున చేరనివారికిచ్చి, తన వంశ మునకు చేరని ముప్పది మంది కన్యలను తన కుమారులకు పెండ్లి చేసెను. అతడు ఏడేండ్లు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు అధి పతిగా నుండెను.
