Then Jerubbaal, who [is] Gideon, and all the people that [were] with him, rose up early, and pitched beside the well of Harod: so that the host of the Midianites were on the north side of them, by the hill of Moreh, in the valley.

2. 2యెహోవానీతో నున్న జనులు ఎక్కువ మంది, నేను వారిచేతికి మిద్యానీయులను అప్పగింపతగదు; ఇశ్రాయేలీయులునా బాహుబలము నాకు రక్షణ కలుగచేసికొనెననుకొని నామీద అతిశయించుదురేమో.
3. 3కాబట్టి నీవుఎవడు భయపడి వణకుచున్నాడో వాడు త్వరపడి గిలాదు కొండ విడిచి తిరిగి వెళ్లవలెనని జనులు వినునట్లుగా ప్రకటించు మని గిద్యోనుతో సెలవిచ్చెను. అప్పుడు జనులలోనుండి ఇరువది రెండువేలమంది తిరిగి వెళ్లి పోయిరి.
