గిద్యోను ఎఫ్రాయిమీయుల మన్యదేశమంతటికిని దూత లను పంపిమిద్యానీయులను ఎదుర్కొనుటకు వచ్చి, బేత్బారావరకు వాగులను యొర్దానును వారికంటెముందుగా పట్టుకొనుడని చెప్పియుండెను గనుక, ఎఫ్రాయిమీయు లందరు కూడుకొని బేత్బారా వరకు వాగులను యొర్దానును పట్టుకొనిరి.
