ఆ దినమంతయు అబీమెలెకు ఆ పట్టణస్థులతో యుద్ధముచేసి పట్టణమును చుట్టుకొని అందులోనున్న జనులను చంపి పట్టణమును పడగొట్టి దాని స్థలమున ఉప్పు జల్లెను.
