1. 48యాజకుడు వచ్చి లోపల ప్రవేశించి చూచునప్పుడు ఆ యింటికి అడుసు వేసిన తరువాత ఆ పొడ యింటిలో వ్యాపింపక పోయినయెడల, పొడ బాగుపడెను గనుక ఆ యిల్లు పవిత్రమని యాజకుడు నిర్ణయింపవలెను.
2. 49ఆ యింటి కొరకు పాపపరిహారార్థబలి అర్పించుటకు అతడు రెండు పక్షులను దేవదారు కఱ్ఱను రక్తవర్ణపు నూలును హిస్సోపును తీసికొని
3. 50పారు నీటిపైన మంటి పాత్రలో ఆ పక్షులలో ఒకదానిని వధించి
4. 51ఆ దేవదారు కఱ్ఱను హిస్సోపును రక్తవర్ణపు నూలును సజీవమైన పక్షిని తీసికొని వధింపబడిన పక్షి రక్తములోను పారు నీటిలో వాటిని ముంచి ఆ యింటిమీద ఏడు మారులు ప్రోక్షింపవలెను.
5. 52అట్లు ఆ పక్షి రక్తముతోను ఆ పారు నీటితోను సజీవ మైన పక్షితోను దేవదారు కఱ్ఱతోను హిస్సోపుతోను రక్త వర్ణపు నూలుతోను ఆ యింటి విషయములో పాపపరి హారార్థబలి అర్పింపవలెను.
