1. 28బోధకుడా, భార్య బ్రదికియుండగా ఒకని సహోదరుడు సంతానము లేక చనిపోయినయెడల, అతని సహోదరుడతని భార్యను పెండ్లిచేసికొని తన సహోదరునికి సంతానము కలుగజేయ వలెనని మోషే మనకు వ్రాసి యిచ్చెను.
2. 29యేడుగురు సహోదరులుండిరి. మొదటివాడొక స్త్రీని పెండ్లిచేసికొని సంతానము లేక చనిపోయెను.
3. 30రెండవవాడును మూడవవాడును ఆమెను పెండ్లిచేసికొనిరి.
4. 31ఆ ప్రకారమే యేడుగురును ఆమెను పెండ్లాడి సంతానములేకయే చనిపోయిరి. పిమ్మట ఆ స్త్రీయు చనిపోయెను.
5. 32కాబట్టి పునరుత్థానమందు ఆమె వారిలో ఎవనికి భార్యగా ఉండును?
