అప్పుడొక చిన్నది ఆ మంట వెలుతురులో అతడు కూర్చుండుట చూచి అతని తేరిచూచివీడును అతనితో కూడ ఉండెనని చెప్పెను.

54వారాయనను పట్టి యీడ్చుకొనిపోయి ప్రధాన యాజకుని యింటిలోనికి తీసికొనిపోయిరి. పేతురు దూర ముగా వారి వెనుక వచ్చుచుండెను.
55అంతట కొందరు నడుముంగిట మంటవేసి చుట్టు కూర్చుండి నప్పుడు, పేతురును వారి మధ్యను కూర్చుండెను.
56అప్పుడొక చిన్నది ఆ మంట వెలుతురులో అతడు కూర్చుండుట చూచి అతని తేరిచూచివీడును అతనితో కూడ ఉండెనని చెప్పెను.
57అందుకు పేతురు అమ్మాయీ, నేనతని నెరుగననెను.
58మరి కొంత సేపటికి మరియొకడు అతని చూచినీవును వారిలో ఒకడవనగా పేతురు ఓయీ, నేను కాననెను.
