49ఆయనకు నెళవైనవారందరును, గలిలయనుండి ఆయనను వెంబ డించిన స్త్రీలును దూరముగా నిలుచుండి వీటిని చూచుచుండిరి.
50అరిమతయియ అను యూదుల పట్టణపు సభ్యుడైన యోసేపు అను ఒకడుండెను.
51అతడు సజ్జనుడును నీతిమంతుడునై యుండి వారి ఆలోచనకును వారు చేసిన పనికిని సమ్మతింపక దేవుని రాజ్యముకొరకు కనిపెట్టు చుండినవాడు.
52అతడు పిలాతునొద్దకు వెళ్లి, యేసు దేహము (తనకిమ్మని) అడుగుకొని
53దానిని క్రిందికి దించి, సన్నపు నారబట్టతో చుట్టి, తొలిచిన రాతి సమాధిలో ఉంచెను. అందులో ఎవడును అంతకు మునుపెప్పుడును ఉంచబడలేదు.
