King James Version (KJV): Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

2ఆ సరస్సు తీరముననున్న రెండుదోనెలను చూచెను; జాలరులు వాటిలోనుండి దిగి తమ వలలు కడుగుచుండిరి.
3ఆయన ఆ దోనెలలో సీమోనుదైన యొక దోనె యెక్కిదరినుండి కొంచెము త్రోయుమని అతని నడిగి, కూర్చుండి దోనెలోనుండి జనసమూహములకు బోధించుచుండెను.

5సీమోను ఏలినవాడా, రాత్రి అంతయు మేము ప్రయాసపడితివిు గాని మాకేమియు దొరకలేదు; అయినను నీ మాట చొప్పున వలలు వేతునని ఆయనతో చెప్పెను.
6వారాలాగు చేసి విస్తారమైన చేపలు పట్టిరి, అందుచేత వారి వలలు పిగిలిపోవుచుండగా
